Privacy Policy

Link1 is designed as a local network workbench. Link One Networks does not operate public VPN or proxy servers for user traffic. We do not collect VPN or traffic data from Link1, and we do not sell, use, or disclose such data to third parties.

Product boundary

  • Link1 uses Apple Network Extension capabilities to route traffic on the user's device.
  • Link One Networks does not provide public VPN servers, proxy nodes, bandwidth resale, or managed traffic relay.
  • Users provide their own configuration profiles and upstream endpoints. Traffic is sent only to direct destinations or to endpoints selected by the user's configuration.
  • Connection metadata, DNS activity, runtime logs, HTTP captures, and MITM-decrypted content remain on device by default.
  • HTTP Capture and HTTPS MITM are disabled by default and require explicit user configuration. Users should enable them only for traffic they own or are authorized to inspect.

Information processed locally

To provide routing, diagnostics, and HTTP tooling, Link1 may process the following information on the device where the app runs:

  • configuration profiles, rule sets, provider URLs, proxy names, upstream server addresses, and credentials that the user imports or enters;
  • connection metadata such as source, destination, process, matched rule, selected policy, protocol, traffic counters, and latency probes;
  • DNS queries, DNS responses, Fake-IP mappings, and routing decisions needed to match rules;
  • runtime logs, health probe results, and troubleshooting state shown in the app;
  • HTTP request and response summaries, bodies, and headers only when HTTP Capture is explicitly enabled;
  • HTTPS content only when MITM is explicitly configured and the user has installed or trusted the required certificate authority.

These items are used by Link1 on device to provide the features the user requested. They are not sent to Link One Networks unless the user explicitly exports logs, shares diagnostics, or contacts support and includes them.

Information we collect

Link One Networks does not collect user traffic, DNS history, browsing history, proxy credentials, HTTP captures, or MITM content from Link1.

We may receive limited information in these cases:

  • Support communications: if a user emails us, we receive the email address, message content, attachments, and any logs the user chooses to send.
  • App Store and TestFlight diagnostics: Apple may provide crash reports or diagnostics according to the user's Apple settings and Apple's developer tools. We use them only to improve reliability.
  • Website hosting: this website is served through Cloudflare, which may process standard web request metadata such as IP address, user agent, and request time to deliver and secure the site.

VPN and traffic data commitment

Link One Networks does not collect, sell, use, or disclose to third parties any VPN data, traffic data, browsing history, DNS history, HTTP capture content, MITM content, proxy credentials, or configuration contents for any purpose.

The app processes routing metadata locally only to perform user-requested network routing, diagnostics, and debugging features.

User configurations and upstream services

Users are responsible for the configuration profiles, providers, subscriptions, and upstream servers they choose to use with Link1. Link One Networks does not control those third-party upstream services and is not responsible for their privacy practices.

Retention, deletion, and consent

  • Local configuration, logs, captures, caches, and state stay on the user's device until the user deletes them in the app or removes the app data.
  • Support emails and attachments are retained only as long as needed to answer the request, maintain safety, or satisfy legal obligations.
  • Users can revoke permission by disabling Link1, removing the Network Extension/VPN profile, deleting captures or logs, deleting profiles, or uninstalling the app.
  • To request deletion of support records, contact support@link1.app.

Third-party services

  • Apple App Store and TestFlight for distribution, purchases if offered, crash reporting, and platform services.
  • Cloudflare for website delivery and security.
  • User-selected upstream proxy, VPN, DNS, provider, or rule-set services configured by the user.

We do not use third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics on the static website today.
